Brethren,
“Where flowers bloom, so does hope”.
Spring is here! Another season, another hope!
We are now entering the 2nd quarter of the year and it seems just like yesterday when 2024 started. Time moves fast and it waits for no one. We are given another season to recreate ourselves, learn from our past and be a better someone. This season we are about to unfold the principles of Masonry to our four petitioners seeking Masonic light. Let us help each other share these principles with them by honing ourselves and sharing it with them. Let us show them how we work together as a Lodge and as Brothers. Let us show them our enthusiasm and our love for the craft, that way they can embrace a new passion and have love for the craft flourish.
“The hourglass is an emblem of time. Behold how swiftly the sands run and how rapidly our lives are ending”. We never have as much time as we think we have in our journey in this world. I always encourage Brothers to sit, contemplate and reflect on our obligation. I encourage everyone to join us in some of the activities that we have planned for this year. Freemasonry has a lot to offer, and we gain knowledge by actively participating in our Blue Lodge meetings and activities, by traveling, by visiting other Lodges and joining the appendant bodies of Masonry. We have the basic knowledge of our obligation, but it becomes clearer when we take part in our Grand Lodge, Blue Lodge and other Masonic activities. It gives us a chance to meet Brothers; learn new things and we learn how to work better and more effectively with others. We don’t have the luxury of time and I want to be able to share with you everything I know and feel about Masonry. My goal is to be able to share my little knowledge and my big passion for the fraternity with others. I encourage everyone to communicate with your Officers any activities that you think will be fun or helpful for the growth of everybody so that we can still plan and add it to this year’s activities.
I encourage everyone to join us at our Bingo at Bonnie Blink on May 10, 2024. We are also celebrating our 138th Chartered Anniversary on that day. Let’s have a potluck dinner at the Grand Lodge after the event and have a nice fellowship with our Brethren and families.
On May 18, 2024 please join us at the Grand Lodge for the Semi-Annual Communication. This is when we will be voting for next year’s Grand Lodge Officers. All Master Masons are invited and encouraged to join.
Lastly, we only have 10 seats left available for our Sat 5/25 6pm outing to see Beauty And The Beast at Toby’s Dinner Theater. Tickets are $85 which includes the tax and the tip, the show, soft drinks and the all you can eat buffet. Either text W Bro Bob Rascovar at (410) 913-7210 or use the sign-up sheet on our Facebook group chat.
Thank you!
Sincerely and fraternally,
Ed Regino II
Worshipful Master
